Maybe just b/c I lived through it, but Sept 11th seems pretty big. Kicked off a couple of wars, increased build up of the surveillance state and police militarization, anti-Muslim/immigrant sentiment.
D-Day was a pretty big day.

Yeah, 9/11 fundamentally changed lots and lots of things. I think it might be hard to appreciate how big those changes were for younger people.
Doug is a douche who opened a crypto content channel and was selling some version of a crypto tout site at the height of the bull alt market. If you listened to his ānon-adviceā you probably lost your entire portfolio value.
Now I donāt care about that, everyone make their own decision, and he wasnāt straight shilling coins, but like after the market crashed and most of the coins lost all their values he basically completely ignored that ever happened. I saw once someone wrote to him on twitter and he was like āstfu i made tons of moneyā.
So yeah, not very surprising how little regards he has for other peopleās lives.

There were a bunch of people that did that in the maniaāget paid to shill coin, invest in said coin before shilling, sell said coin after shilling, laugh at suckers on your channel.
Only an idiot wouldāve bought whatever the hell he was pushing but maybe thatās because I learned because I had a lot of early coins that dev ended up quitting and it immediately went to shit. If just one person is working on it or a small team the coin is going to zero after they all give up.
Dicksville Notch sounds like one of the horniest placenames in all of America, but in reality itās probably not even in the top five.

I donāt mind that he trolls Daniel or whatever and Iām fine with people betting on politics if thatās their thing but Trump/Biden isnāt just some random prop bet. Itās high stakes in lots of ways.

Iām pretty certain Doug never actively shilled a specific coin. The thing is he was basically pushing the entire alt market and tried to establish himself as like a thought leader or whatever to crowds that werenāt familiar with him from Poker.
Itās all perfectly fine except most of his audience, including those who straight up paid for his content, lost a lot of money when it crashed and he didnāt give a fuck.
It is hard to root for DN, but I think I donāt have a choice.
