I’m not going to miss the Trump administration, but the political process to end it has been a wonderful journey.
I am capable of emotional detachment from politics to allow study of it from an academic perspective, so I just haven’t been emotionally worked up about the election like others have. There was a time in my life when I seriously considered going down a path towards doing that for a living and this past year has just been endlessly fascinating, rekindling some of what I felt back then, and I am sad that I will lose that intellectual stimulus.
