POTUS BOWL 2020: A MEME IS A WISH YOUR <3 MAKES

Wasn’t there some meme about yard signs a few cycles ago?

I just think it’s funny that Hillary For Prison is still a meme. Pretty sure Republicans we’re saying that way back in the 90’s. It’s amazing how profoundly hated she is.

Lol, NateThaGreat bringing the heat:

First National Poll conducted at least partly after the debate, CNBC/Change Research, shows Biden opening up a 13 point lead, 54/41:

Hard to imagine anything moving the needle that much, but who knows.

Yeah, that’s a one panel Vince result.

It’s a C- pollster that has been somewhat bullish on Biden in the polls that I skimmed, but that’s also a 4 point swing in Biden’s favor since their previous national poll from a little over a week ago.

I mean, take it with a huge grain of salt, but undecideds usually break for the challenger and maybe 2/100 people were waiting on the debate and/or were finally exposed to the actual Trump instead of the right wing social construction of Trump.

Yeah, they were +8 in August and +9 a week ago. You can’t really say if it’s the debate, the taxes, or his refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power, but there does seem to be movement in the polls towards Biden. 538 is now up to 80/19 for Biden/Trump. That forecast, which was remarkably stable for weeks, is now rapidly moving towards Biden.

The bounce is probably temporary, but I think a lot of people are underestimating how horribly Trump’s performance played with the low info centrist Republican crowd.

I saw many people who I never see say a word politically, but you can tell are the type who vote republican because their family always has, posting how embarrassing the debate was in the aftermath.

Even if there are a relatively small amount of undecideds or voters who could be persuaded to flip their vote this time around that pot of people isn’t 0. The debate, the tax returns snafu and the calling soliders losers and suckers does nothing to convince any of these people to vote for Trump. Biden doesn’t even have to do anything besides be less awful and he is accomplishing that so far. I imagine we see a small bump in all the polling for Biden.

The debate wasn’t the only newsmaker in the past week though. Also 2 percent is a big number. If that 2 percent was all Trump to Biden, then that translates into a 4 point bump, exactly what Biden got.

I didn’t mean for my post to imply I was arguing against anything posted. Just thought it was germane to the conversation.

I didn’t take it that way.

Just to add to this, it also doesn’t have to exceed 0 by very much to be conclusive. 2016 was decides by a few 10s of thousands of votes in swing states.
