But the AI coding tools seem to have hit an inflection point about last Nov/Dec.
Computer programming is in a bad position to be overtaken by AI in that you have a fairly well-defined correct outcome (does it do what it’s supposed to do?). It’s still messy, but more well-defined than a lot of other office jobs.

Ironic, but my post in the AM thread reminded me that it was you who taught me that conservatives give more to charity than liberals and that a lot organizations that help poor people are conservative-coded.
I’m sure a ton but I’m gonna be honest, outside of a few posters who have very distinct personalities, a lot of you guys blend together.
I’m not sure it inspires hope that a lot of people who are very kind in their personal lives manage to have brutal politics.
