Just out on a walk in the neighborhood with the puppo checking out what Spring has to offer.
Grand Teton NP?
north seattle?
Basically, kinda in between Greenwood and Green Lake.
Bozeman. Looking mostly north
The more I look at this image the more curious I get. I’d be interested in whatever info you want to share about it.
Saw this on a walk yesterday. The pic doesn’t really capture it but the blossoms were like an inch or two thick on the ground. I’ve never seen them like that.
That’s in my neighborhood in LA. There are a few empty lots with old foundations on them, presumably from homes that had been abandoned due to being on unstable bluffs. A cute little deer just happened to be hanging out there this time.
Beautiful view from your neighborhood. Looks similar to the views from Palos Verdes. I have an aunt an uncle that had an incredible home there with breathtaking views, and they sold it last year to move to the woods in PA. I’ll never understand that decision.
Ah that explains it. Except for the intact structure(s) down on the beach it looked like it could be a scene from some post-apocalyptic film.
They probably pocketed enough to buy the whole forest.
Made me think of
Imagine being a professional painter in 1888 and doing… that. It’s like the fine art version of making an aspic for a dinner party in the 21st century.
They certainly made more than I’m ever likely to make in my lifetime, but the person who bought from them last March is the real winner. Gutted the place, redesigned the interior, and just sold it for like $2.4 million MORE than it sold for a year ago.
Palos Verdes is so beautiful though. If I were fortunate enough to have those views I’m not sure I’d ever sell, even when the value was 15x what it was purchased for decades ago.
