I agree. There’s no way a decent person could participate in these events on the police’s side. If they don’t walk off the job they are complicit in the oppression and violence.
One of the many profound videos posted itt had a woman standing her ground shouting “they are not above us”, or something along those lines. The problem is every single cop believes they are in fact above others and that every non cop is a second class or lower citizen.

I’ll take Georgia in the pool for Trump declaring an national emergency and bringing the guard - I’m guessing the reddest state will give Trump the cover he will want to get the military involved and the Georgia strikes me as going along with Trump. Pretty much every where else with significant riots are blue unless I’m missing somewhere.

The issue isn’t grey. There is an immense amount of evidence that policing in America is systemically awful. The system needs reforming.
