The Ezra Klein interview of Ta Nahisi Cotes is real good. They frames the whole abolish the police idea in a way that really worked well for my understanding. Along the way they make so many good points about policing and protests and violence. Well worth a listen.

As I always say if that isn’t the case then just actually express views for equal healthcare for all. That’s it.

Cops do just fine under socialism/communism, and many other capitalist countries do much better than the US with different policing models. There’s literally a double dissociation between capitalism and bad policing.
