Honestly, I’m not so sure about team abolish the police. As soon as we fire all these angry violent psychopathic men with no employable skills, we’re going to end up right back where we started demanding we get tough on crime again.

This is why I call bullchit on the claim that they’re resigning at the NYPD. Those guys have nowhere else to go.
Part of the abolish police plan can be to support those former cops as they transition to other work that’s better suited to the community and and their own humanity.
We abolish police because we care about human lives, including theirs.
