My aunt spoke to my mom today. She (aunt) is the only MAGA Fox News brainwashed idiot in the family thankfully. She relayed two separate stories of lifelong friends, one a dem and the other a Republican, who both recently told her they can no longer speak to her while trump is president. There is 0% chance this leads to introspection.

It saddens me that people look at his behavior and think he’s tough. At the same time, if deplorables think acting like Trump is tough, then I’m less concerned about them forming militias and killing off left-wing protestors.
DC announced a 7pm curfew tonight and tomorrow. Oh, but we have a primary election on Tuesday, and the polls were supposed to be open until 8. Right now it sounds like they’ll stay open, but who knows.
My neighborhood was one of many that got absolutely wrecked last night. Sirens going off all throughout the evening, a few fires, all the first floor stores/ restaurants cleaned out. Thankfully, I didn’t hear of any deaths or significant injuries.

Let’s be real. It’s a show trial. He was taken into custody as a protective measure that was disguised as a real arrest with the hope that it would appease the masses.
Qualified immunity will be invoked and he’ll get off scot-free.
