Poker News and Live Streams - HU4LOLLZ

Phil Hellmuth is really bad at poker. This is not news. This is such an old and boring debate. It’s so weird watching all these people who both understand variance and poker strategy try to constantly twist themselves into a knot to pretend it’s the later when it’s obviously the former. He is a bad player who has had the gift of accidentally being on the long tail of variance for his career. It is mathematically inevitable someone would be, it just happens to be him.

It’s not fine. Exactly direct pot odds, which is ballpark what he’s getting, is not enough to call off your tournament life.

Obviously this. And the pot odds only result due to the poor three bet from the “king of reads” his only actual claim to skill.

It’s funny reading all the top players try not to trash it. Things like “not as bad as it looks” and “while it’s a mistake here is why he might have done it”

Classic keep the fish in the game mixed with tacit support for a superstar.

Another super edgy post. Keep up the good work.

So you’ll crossbook me Hellmuth’s results versus some random average reg in a future event or events of our choosing? If it’s all mathematics and variance should be a snap call.

High Stakes Poker has actually been pretty good the last few eps. Tilly is great for the game, Doyle’s in DGAF mode, Krish punting like he’s a 1980s NFL coach and Garrett GOATing.

Norman runs through Phil’s poker achievements at 18:50. Clovis shouldn’t watch this.

Wait I didn’t know he won a lot of bracelets. Now I’m convinced he is obviously GOAT. Not to mention the Norman Chad seal of approval!

What do you guys think of the million dollar bounty event at WSOP. $1,000 buy in. $300 of each buy in goes to the bounty pool. Highest bounty is $1M. Seems like a really fun event.

This is a really cool event. Wish I could play.

If I cash well in my next O8 tourney I might parlay that into this. Sounds like a lot of fun

WSOP has a mystery bounty event on their schedule in 2020. Wynn ran with it and seems to have perfected the format. Several places now run them. WSOP is trying to make theirs special by having a million dollar prize. For the majority of players, this is probably their best shot at a WSOP six-figure score.

I changed my June plans to July for this. I got 4 nights at Planet Hollywood for $220. Going to play the flights on July 4th. PH isn’t a shithole is it? Seemed really cheap to be decent + close to Ballys.

I’ve stayed twice about 5-7 years ago. I really like the property but I guess things could have changed since then. Location is fantastic.

Rooms are fine. You just duck outdoors, cross the street, and enter Paris, so maximum Vegas heat avoidance outside of Paris/Bally’s. You can find meals under $10 at PH.

Before it closed, the poker room was reportedly great if you liked loud, drunk games.
