An orbit later Angela shows up. When he opens the button she kinda taunts him a little bit. Then he just gives it all away.

Someone fwd it to me but apparently this happened -
1500 mixed plo/nlh event. Plo hand. 3 to the flop. Someone bets both fold he shows 5 cards (its 4 card plo).
Floor rules the pot goes to the player who folded last (?)
Without looking it up, I believe that is the correct ruling.
I would’ve guessed void but as soon as he got 5 cards he should’ve revealed that immediately so. maybe a small penalty for that guy too
Why not split between the two players who folded on the same street?

Definitely a dead hand and not a misdeal since there was significant action.
The standard is usually to award pots to the last active hand.
millionaire maker had allins on each of the first two hands of the FT and none are from the short stack.

I have written out, edited, and re-edited well over one dozen tweets since early June. I erased them all. I have been playing great poker, and I have been frustrated, upset, and flabbergasted that I haven’t been able to make any WSOP Final Tables over 9 deep runs (9 cashes). Bottom line: 1) do not get too frustrated: I mean, I made a record 7 Final Tables at 2021 WSOP; I guess that can’t happen every year, right? It’s poker. 2) Control what you can control. Keep getting enough rest, and keep playing great poker. It’s simple. Everything else is just noise . . .

wsop numbers have been great but I do lose respect for those that grind out every event/every day. Way more fun things to do losing that kind of money.

Big gap between crossbooking their action (and having a massive win when someone sun runs an FT) and having the binary pass/fail wager I don’t like it.
Assuming 100 people you would need someone to FT about 7th to breakeven. (assuming no one else’s cashes) but even if 10-15 have min cashes/30k cashes, your top guy still needs a 15th-ish type finish to win.
I’d fade it.
The expected ROI of your 100 player team would need to be much higher than 50% in order to make this bet profitable, since the skew of the payout distribution is so extreme. Seems like a trap to me.
