It’s all super fucked up. I think Leon is genuinely scary and i won’t play at Kings cause i don’t trust that place. My conspiracy mind thinks it was almost too obvious that it might be putting everyone focus on the wrong things

Even if he owned 100% of a casino could he really lose that much every year without being, um, unethical?
Honestly at this point anyone who plays a poker tournament with him deserves to be cheated.
Imagine being that random dude who entered the $250k this year with zero Hendonmob having barely played poker before. As if he is doing that again.
Wsop is once a year and you can’t just find out every player before registering.
They will be going to Kings for wsope and pretend its unrelated

Shaun Deeb won 6 since 2015. Benny Glaser won 5. Negreanu plays as heavy of a schedule as anyone and has zero.
Does he play all the mixed games? I know he plays some stud.
I think he plays literally every tournament he physically can
After he won his last bracelet in 2013, except for the shark cage pokerstars tv thing, he didn’t win a tourney until 2021. 
I think DNegs isn’t as good at mix games as he thinks he is but even still given the volume he plays at WSOP you would think he’d luckbox a small field mix game tourney.

That seems so wild to me, given that he was willing to do so much learning from better players at HUNL during the Polk challenge
Or at least give the appearance he did
He doesn’t play in the biggest mixed games that are smaller limits now thrn 15 years ago makes me think he isn’t that good. I have idea and maybe he doesn’t care and has made tons of money and just likes doing the “summer grind” to feel like he is still a pro and make a lot of money being an ambassador.

Also a friend sat with Chris Brewer today in an event and Brewer said he was pretty confident Martin wasnt cheating at the FT and that they scanned the cards and found nothing.

incredible luckbox, the election guru despite being an idiot with predicting elections just because he got it right once with a lot of other people but he had pretty pictures.
nitpicking I guess but I’m seeing some bad analysis out there regarding martin, he can’t mark a card he hadn’t gotten dealt. ie, people pointing to the hand he punted a little against aces, but he may only have known one ace.
that said, without him the highest of stakes tournaments are still incredibly boring so idk what the real solution is. As noted, some are cheaters themselves and a bunch are or definitely have been in the gray area.
this vid of his antics at that ft, with virtually no mention of him cheating or marking cards, isn’t exactly damning.
he comes off like a colossal dbag and I get why it wouldn’t be pleasant playing with him, but being an ahole isn’t a crime
if you’re going to make an issue of his behavior, the cheating should be at the top of the list
