lol i forgot about that, so great

The j4 hand was much quicker to the turn shove.

Every scenario you can come up with requires a deviation from the j4 hand hence it decreases the likelihood of cheating not increase it.

That part of the hand is a totally plausible non-cheating donk move.

Very interesting interview with dwan and robbi - finally joe asked her about bryan sabsisdidfhsifal and how she was telling people he previously stole from the casino and this was CONFIRMED to her by hustler casino and through video footage. However, dwan corners her and says he talked to people at hustler and confirmed no one told her that and no one would have told her that.

It gets worse from there, but like, wtf. Like why didn’t she clarify her earlier statement? Why does she obfuscate and twist this at every point? Believe me, I’m way more than sympathetic to someone feeling like the entire world is coming at them unfairly and how defenseless that feels, but this is legitimately mind boggling. This line makes NO sense cheating OR NOT. That is why this is so fascinating to me.

The cheating theory requires her to be both brilliant and an imbecile, while also being a rampaging liar.

The innocent theory requires her to be both brilliant and an imbecile, while also being a rampaging liar.

I’m leaning towards innocence just because it would have less moving parts to explain, but nothing about any of this makes any sense from any perspective. Almost all the unusual behavior/reactions that leans you towards guilty can easily be flipped and lean you towards innocent. Depends on which mindset you put on. I think anyone in either “absolutely sure” camp could maybe look at working on their empathy skills.

Not if the gentleman in the pink hoodie was involved. He was away from the table at the beginning of the J8dd hand. I don’t want to list his name because of his role in the industry and the evidence against him being thin (but def not zero).

I’m not clear how being innocent requires her to be brilliant - this entire thing seems explainable by her being kind of an imbecile. I am really not trying to disparage her because I lean innocent but holy mother of god like if this person was successful in business it just proves to me most people are mashing buttons.

How so?

If you accept that she thought she had J3, that’s a pretty sharp call.

Sure it does. The best evidence against her is that he stole the $15K from her and nobody else because it is very plausible that it was his cut of the $135K she gave back. Anything that shows he stole chips off stacks previously weakens that argument somewhat.

So she has motive for that lie if she cheated.

My bad I quoted the wrong one. Why does cheating require her to be brilliant?

I don’t really think anymore she thought she had it. I also don’t think it super matters anymore, only she knows, and she can’t give a consistent answer about it. I kind of think she thought J4 was good or like a good draw or whatever her brain came up with under pressure. I think it was as simple as “he’s bluffing so I call” without thinking that his bluffs beat her hand. I dont think J3 is a particularly brilliant call either, but idk.

I do not think she was value raising a 3 to induce semi bluff shoves from combo draws. I do not think her thought process was at that level.

I was being a bit facetious labelling her “brilliant” in both scenarios, but I think her actions are equally believable from an innocent person as they are from a guilty one.

LOL I just found out she calls deeb “hungry hippo” wtfffff

So now it requires him to be involved although it makes little to no sense based on his own hands in the stream (remember he had the a8 vs her ak). You don’t see how less likely it make the cheating?

If there was any pattern here that would increase the chances. Instead you have two hands played almost completely opposite to each other and not at all like you’d ever expect a cheater to play.

And to reconcile those difference you have to come up with even further unlikely scenarios.

So as i said, the j8 hand clearly reduces the chances of cheating if you are attemtping to look at this in any logical way

she briefly tried to act like it wasn’t a shot at his weight like “he’s hungry for information” and then gave up on the lie halfway through, so funny. I’ve never seen this level of bullshit from a person.

eta: actually that’s a lie. the way she tells stories and describes reality reminds me of a guy I used to work with who if you asked him what sandwich he’d had for lunch he’d lie about it.

Wait what’d I miss?

Have you seen the hand where she calls the turn drawing dead and then takes a minute and a timebank to fold j high unimproved on the river?
