Thanks for the tips! I put an amount that meant nothing to me on just so I could practice during the quarantine, so whatever even if they do shut me down. It’ll annoy me a bit, but I never thought that winning a decent sum or successfully getting it off the site is a sure thing. I can tell when it’s going to crash on me when a box starts popping up randomly with the message “Your transaction could not be completed. Please try again” or something close to that.
But yet they think Trump is a genius.
I’ve been playing on Ignition for 2-3 years…moreso recently with all the time in quarantine! Mostly turbo SNG’s. Never had any real problems with the connection, despite reading some complaints at 2+2 about the issue. Every now and then it’ll seem to “hang” (e.g., player’s clock behind me runs out but I don’t see them make an action, and action doesn’t move to me for a few seconds), but other than that, it’s been fine.
I do remember a disconnect issue a couple years ago and they did give me my $ back for the buy-in.
I also had a weird issue a couple months ago where I registered for a couple of SNG, then unregistered. I unregistered successfully since I was never seated at a table, but the $ didn’t go back into my account. Again, a couple of emails to customer support later, the money was back in my account.
Almost certainly in the top 10 for biggest losers in poker over the last year, maaaybe not if you include macau whales but calls others dumb.
Where do you find this information?
What do you think happens when a 2/5 Aria reg is playing in the biggest games in Iveys room 2 weeks later, with people buying in for 7 figures?
That they would get waxed
Just curious if this info is documented somewhere.
Watched her stream one or two times and she seems pretty whiny and unlikeable, and obviously that tweet is ridiculous. Glad to hear she’s getting destroyed. Her buy-ins seem pretty low, so I’d be surprised if she’s one of the biggest losers. It’s probably her boyfriend Spraggy eating all the losses anyway.
I mean, when you go from a medium 2/5 winner to playing 1k/2k because a guy with $ thinks you’re cute it might make your view on poker a bit weird.
Oh damn, didn’t realize she was playing that high live. I thought she was just a full time streamer donking around in low to mid stakes MTTs. Spraggy must be loaded.
It wasn’t Spraggy lol, someone else was putting her into the big game. I think Spraggy can barely afford to play 1ks.
Lasted maybe a few weeks and she lost enough you’d never be able to make back on markup.
I didn’t think much of her as a player, but enjoyed her Youtube videos. She seemed like the type of player who was winning at certain levels because she happened to have friends who were good players who could give her coaching, but who wouldn’t be able to do the work necessary if forced to figure it out on her own. I was very unhappy about the level of misogyny thrown her way as she tried to enter the poker Youtube space.
She comes across as a not-that-smart but not-completely-stupid millennial still trying to figure out her place in the world. As a poker player, she seems like she would be prone to tilt and fancy play syndrome while thinking that she is smarter than she actually is.
I was under the impression that she was freerolling while staked by some whale. That money wasn’t going to last forever. If she knew she was a dog against pro-heavy lineups at those stakes, her best strategy might be to try and get lucky. (Or dump the money to her friends.)
I saw Marle once on Live At the Bike and she kept gii with flush draws on paired boards.
Like uhhh… you’re gonna have reduced outs or could even be drawn dead.
Any win rates out there or?
Deposited $200 in Bovada to gambol. $200 to $1K playing 1/2 PLO. Took my shot at 5/10. Lost it all. Was fun, looking forward to doing it again.
On a more serious note: Bovada is running a $1M guaranteed $500 July 12th. I’ll see you all there.
final table of the lucky sevens
edit: still broke, huh
Found this channel that uploaded a bunch of old Tuff Fish videos, pretty much all are gold. I’ll link my favorite of the bunch. Just pure, unadulterated tilt from the word go. Sadly Tuff came up in the wrong era, he would have made an absolute killing on Twitch. He’d be pretty much perfect for that format.
