You are gifted a power by a genie. You can snap your fingers and kill anyone anywhere in the world. You need to know their full name and have a picture of them in front of you (a google image search will work). It works from anywhere. Would you use the power? And if so how?
For my answer I think cops who murder with impunity would suddenly start mysteriously dropping dead. World leaders etc would be tricky because you may do more harm than good if you start creating power vacuums all over.
I would use it - too many complete scumbags on this planet - but not keep it a secret that there exists someone with this power who is willing to use it. No one would know who I am but would know that I am the god of hellfire…

I wouldn’t because I just know that while I’m thinking of the person’s name and likeness, someone else’s name and face would pop into my head.

Lets say you have to have to person’s picture in front of you for it to work. So it has to be someone you can google image search or someone you have a picture of for some reason.
So when did you start watching Death Note?

So long as you can find a picture and snap your fingers. If someone chops your fingers off you’re done for. I think if they find out about you then you’re going to end up locked in a small cell being shown picture after picture by the CIA and being told to snap or get tortured again so I wouldn’t do too much to reveal yourself.
I do wonder how many names would be in my Death Note. I think the threat of it would be more powerful than using it.
Once you write one name in there, everybody else falls into place.
