The UP accounts that are an IP match to Arby are

vaya and vaya1. Vaya hasn’t been seen since the Arby account was created.

Are there any circumstances in which a user’s former username should be made public based on matching IP addresses?

I think I’d like to know what his previous name here was, unless there are extenuating circumstances eg he can show he was being unfairly targetted or doxxed under his old name (highly unlikely).

He changed his name in the worst of faith and I think people should know who he is so I will start a thread asking for permission to reveal his former username unless there is something in our privacy policy that forbids tbat

Not sure why ggoreo’s being cryptic. The Arbytoras account was first looked into by a mod because being a trolling jackass is always going to get your account looked at. Account information available to mods includes IP addresses, and automatically shows other accounts with the same address. I subsequently looked into it and confirmed that multiple vaya accounts and Arby had a shared IP address.
