The choosing not to amplify it thing, I mean fine, I don’t think it makes any difference but I understand your concern. I still think any harm arising from Lindsay Graham being outed in the course of it being reported that he patronises sex workers is Lindsay Graham’s lookout, is something Lindsay Graham should have thought about before he decided to become a massively hypocritical public servant.
I’m not familiar with that aspect of it, but if the basic story does end up being reported, like, isn’t that in itself news?
Just wanted to drop in an point out this sentence proves you’re not here to argue in good faith. Anyone who disagrees with micro’s opinion has no common sense and can be dismissed as an idiot. Fuck that.
On the one hand you have a point and I was trolling in a insulting argumentative way, but on the other hand that was a fucking whiney post.
OK it seems like you’re talking about posting about it, that’s just entirely not what I was talking about at all (it is germane as my talking about it entails posting about it). I kind of think we’re just talking at cross purposes. Peace.
I don’t think he’s exactly right on this, but lol at the idea that thinking one thing is so clear and obvious that it’s not reasonable to disagree is evidence of I mean you’re gonna need a lot more than that, dude.
And when he reads the comments on the Twitter news post about Lindsay and sees all the liberals doing the “lol Lindsay is gay” thing, he may well feel that he is also the butt of their joke. Maybe also that their support is shallow.
Maybe some people will. Maybe some overweight people feel bad when SHS is called fat. Maybe other people aren’t sensitive about that.
Does it matter who is doing the outing?
As far as I can tell it’s the group of prostitutes. Are they not allowed to tell their story?
I haven’t seen anyone even suggest that it shouldn’t be reported much less that someone is not free to tell their story.
