There is a reason surprise witnesses are a staple of law shows: they focus attention.
Who here was complaining about a delay in the hearings a few days ago?

Add Meadows. I guess this little tidbit got dropped while I was putting the laundry in the dryer.

Merrick Garland is a co-conspirator at this point
Fox before the party-approved talking points come out is always entertaining
They gave up. Just checked the channel and they’re on to the NATO summit
She really was the perfect witness. Calm, credible, detailed. Also, LOL at all the old white men who probably underestimated her.
We talk about being a metaphorical “fly on the wall.” I guess a 25-yr old woman was the equivalent for this admin, and she just testified.
Another thing law shows do to spice up the drama is to actually have characters charged with crimes.
“if he was a democrat”

You’re not wrong, but there’s also a good chance this is just the circuses end of the bread and circuses. Everyone is giddy with the spectacle of this Damning Testimony but there’s no real sign yet that there will be any serious consequence. Jan 6 insurgents are walking free all over the country and some are even running for office. It’s easy to get duped by the spectacle of this testimony.
While the details are shocking, they’re really no worse than what we all assumed the evening of January 6th, at which point Trump should have already been impeached and removed.
The absolute worst thing the Dems can do is spend all month telling us about the illegal shit Trump did and then not charge him with anything. Every day just reinforces that all of this is normal politics now and the next guy to lose an election would be a fool not to try an armed takeover. No one cares if Meadows or any of Trump’s slapdicks get got if he’s still free to run again.
I thought this said “Sol Rosenberg” at first, which took me back 30 years.
