Be careful, a couple years ago here in Chicago there were some Nazi stickers put up in a park with razor blades under the sticker put there to hurt anyone removing it

Bring pliers
My in-laws are in NOLA and there is no fucking way you could get me to move there (even if they weren’t living there). Great for tourists, really shitty for residents. Even worse for transplants.
Like pvn said, maybe for a vaction, sure. But to live there, no way.

I think it would be a pretty cool place to live if you’re a serious musician. But would still prefer some other cities. (If I was a serious musician.) Also, it used to be cooler before it got a spring break type of vibe imo.

Never been a big crossword guy but did them occasionally and got an okish crossword app like a year ago. About a month ago bought a year sub to the NY Times crossword app for like $18. It’s legit and easy to use and has like every crossword since like 1993. If you like crosswords at all it’s definitely worth subscribing. I’ve upped my game to where I’m now doing Wed. puzzles consistently and Thurs puzzles with some difficulty. (I solve with autocheck on, but I’m getting better and may stop that soon.)

I’ve been doing them every day for the past few years. Usually need to typo check most days, besides sometimes Mon or Tues, and rarely get Friday or Saturday without a lookup or autocheck. Protip on Thursday - they almost always have a trick or rebus involved.

Just took an hour to do the Sunday. Sometimes i have to just jam in letters from a-z (with autocheck on) on stuff where i have no idea, but that’s rare. They say Sun is about as hard as Thus, just longer. I haven’t tried a Friday. I’ve done all the M-W in Nov and Jan-Feb. I’ve noticed that about Thus. and am still kind of a reebus noob.
