I saw that too. It’s my neighbor who’s very Trumpy and I live deep behind enemy lines, wanted to know what it might mean to alt-right supremacist types, if anything.
There were Cornish Nationalists who really meant it back in the 80s, but I don’t think they were right wing.

In the US when white people get locked on to some Euro identity it is definitely a possiblity. Tons of white supremacy stuff here gets attached to being Irish or something by people who really have no clue where most of their ancestors came from. Someone here making a big deal of being Cornish might be Cornish through and through, but they could also be 10% Cornish and looking to make their whiteness an ethnicity.

If there are Trumpy “Cornish” people over there, then I’ll share my tip on the best way to troll them. Tell them you had a Cornish pasty that you really enjoyed, but quickly let slip that it was not the official Cornish pasty ingredients (so had something other than beef, swede, potato and onion). When they say that it wasn’t a Cornish pasty, just happily tell them it definitely was and how much you love Cornish pasties of all flavours.

These were most likely undocumented migrants on the way to work in the fields somewhere. As soon as I heard that many people died in a 2-car wreck I knew it had to be somewhere like Imperial County or the Central Valley.

Reminds me that I once inadvertently found out a good way to troll a Chilean person is to say that empanadas are just like a British food. Thought it was an innocent remark but they got quite animated.

I would guess so, I went down a brief rabbit hole trying to read about militant Cornish nationalists last night but as far as I could tell none of them have ever got caught. Hard to not admire that.
I keep mistaking the Deathly Hallows symbol from Harry Potter for a white supremacist symbol. For reference it looks like this
And every time I see it on a bumper sticker or what not I’m like “Oh boy, we got a live one!” I guess on the bright side I see this about as frequently as I see Trump flags/bumper stickers here.
