They stopped chanting and started talking about suffering. I hopped down to Nepal.
Theyâre contractually obligated to play Bob Seger - Kathmandu once a day.

Only 18% of homes selling for less than list price, I think.
So what youâre saying is I need to go buy some homebuilder STONKS.
Insanely low interest rates will do that, I guess.
The house next to mine just went through a frenzy of open house and showing activity and sold for an absurd amount considering the size and how old everything in the house was. I laughed when I saw the list price but i wouldnât be surprised if it went for well over ask
Why all the buying? Is it just low interest rates? Pandemic relocations? Another lol bubble?
Also, if anybody is interested in a paying well above assessed value for a run down shack in a not particularly desirable part of western Massachusetts, lmk.
I think itâs lots of things.
Low interest rates
People fleeing cities
Pent up millennial demand
Semi-forced savings from COVID
More disciplined home builders
Building/density restrictions in the places people want to live
Maybe fewer people are selling for some reason. Fewer relocations because of job changes?
Time on market is down to 48 from 60 a year ago, which is significant, but doesnât seem like itâs just houses selling fast.
