Fucking hell, I think the motherboard on my home brew pc is dead. Last night it would not wake up from being asleep, and then when I powered it off and back on again, it would only turn on briefly before powering off on its own, over and over again. I optimistically tried a new power supply today, but now it will only turn on but without a beep or POST. And it looks like 2 years old is too old to find an actual replacement, so it’s like I have to replace the cpu, too
You can probably find a compatible board on eBay.
Couldn’t you just get a raspberry pi and program it? I’ve read articles of home brew setups utilizing it.
