Quality wise, I’ve been happy with Ray-Ban metal frames. Just don’t sleep on them.
How tall are they from top to bottom? 29mm and above and you should be good.
That’s what I’m wearing right now. They’re only 28mm but somehow I convinced Costco to jam some progressives in there.
I used to try and over achieve on eye exams rather than getting the sharpest prescriptions… maybe you’ve just learned the chart or something…

I got progressives at Costco for $300ish all in, about a third of what my first pair of progressives cost at a mall optometrist store.

My work loves to send out 7 page word documents for how to use some new system. We have a new time reporting system. It’s a web-app. You have all the real estate in the world to explain things. The site should be fucking self-explanatory, or it’s a terrible design.
We have a feature that has to be configured in a particular way or the search box will only return results for some search terms, not all search terms. The results of the search is non-unique strings, these strings also have an attribute that will help uniquely identify what the string is describing. The default configuration for the feature is to not include this name attribute and not have the search working as a normal person would expect, basically making the feature a giant PITA to use. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU!!!

Take daughter to dance practice. The waiting area for parents is huge, 30+ chairs spaced out all over the place. There’s only a mom group of 3 in one corner talking so I post up in the corner diagonally opposite from them that’s further away from the glass to watch practice to do some work.
Only other person coming in after me sits in a chair so close to me I can touch them if I lean forward. Wtf dude. He’s gotta be the asshole that chooses the urinal right next to you in a row of free ones.

Good video, and a serious problem. I’d say that I’m in the top 5 percent of sportbettors/online casino promo abusers since it was legalized, and I think it shouldn’t be legal or some serious changes need to be made. Advertising, especially during sporting events, should be banned. Push notifications and marketing emails should be banned. Online and mobile casinos should be banned. Streaming gambling should be banned. Books being allowed to limit/ban winning players should be banned. The ecosystem in it’s current state will continue to have disastrous effects, and it’s mostly preventable. We know that the majority of Americans are morons (see exhibit A: November 5th), and giving people the ability to very easily develop an addiction and very quickly lose problematic amounts of money from the comfort of their own home is really gross.
