Had a problem with a printer at work and had to get help from their customer support widget. their support helped me fix the issue quickly and I went back to my life and these are the emails I’m getting because of this

I was at Fred Meyer today. A 100 count bottle of Kroger “Allergy Tablets” (25mg diphenhydramine) is $3.99. A 100 count bottle of Kroger “Sleep Aid Tablets” (25mg diphenhydramine) is $8.99. Diphenhydramine is the only API in both, they’re exactly the same thing, except I think they’re different colors. This kind of bullshit is so annoying.

Yeah, I noticed that last year. My wife had a sleep aid and we gave a pill to our son one night. I looked at the active ingredient. It looked familiar…checked Benedryl and it was the same fucking thing. So a sleep aid is just an antihistamine.
Not exactly. That’s just one type of sleep aid. There are others.
I’ve got melatonin, frying pan to the head, chloroform on a handkerchief (if movies are accurate), and alcohol.
The other ones I can think of are by prescription. Stuff like Trazodone or Ambien. Benzodiazepines can also be used for sleep. I’m sure there are probably others we could find with a couple of minutes of google.
I used to take this. Been in use so long that it’s a trusted sleep aid that was once used as an anti depressant. I stopped taking it tho when my therapist suspected I was suffering from IIRC serotonin rebound syndrome.
It amazes me and is exhausting that modern life means a constant barrage of scams i have to ignore. So many fake bills or disconnection warnings and “thanks for your purchase.”
Text messaging almost doesn’t work anymore, I get about 70% scams.
Restaurants being miserly/stingy with gravy.
Like this costs cents vs total meal value, and lots of gravy is significantly more enjoyable than not enough.
Back to back meals.
Sausage and mash last night. Chicken schnitzel and chips today. Two different places.
Both shortchanged on gravy.
What the actual fucking fuckity fuck man.
At restaurants I would only expect a half cup at most. Anything beyond that is just gravy.
