Second one is not as universal, imo.
I think evangelicals are OK with being in a coalition with prolife papists but deep down they absolutely think all catholics will burn in hell
Some of them sure but there’s no evangelical position on much of anything imo, especially not Catholics. It’s just too heterogenous of a group.
I do think that’s true about Mormons though.
Who is considered a Christian is the product of political coalitions. When Protestants had the numbers Catholics, Mormons, etc were heretics. As Evangelicals lost numbers Catholics and Mormons have become Christians and the differences papered over in order to fight against secularists. Now that the coalition is winning it’ll be interesting to see when the cracks start forming.
Where are Jehovah’s Witnesses in all of this?

As far as I know, they’re is still outside the fold.
Apparently ex-Marine sniper with PTSD and other mental issues, rumored to be a big conspiracy theorist trying to take down secret LGBTQ pedophile rings or some shit.
My MAGA SIL and her husband live nearby and apparently frequent this place, would love to hear their thoughts on it (most likely “thoughts and prayers”).

Ugh of course Texas políticos are saying the Mormon shooting was an act of terror on ‘people of faith’, and Benny Johnson is out there saying Christians are getting shot at all the time. Meanwhile no one has said anything about any motivation of the shooter. Right wingers somehow adopted the most extreme of identity politics.

Reminds me back to a post on 22, oh, maybe 15 years ago or so from a guy who claimed that the problem with illegal immigrants is that sometimes the get brutally murdered and thus send decent white people to jail who otherwise wouldn’t be there.
Like how Obama was the most divisive politician ever because he was Black.
Shooting was obviously Obama’s fault, his presidency broke the brains of mediocre white men all over the country. We are still feeling the repercussions like this attack today.

Mormons are from Utah, and someone from Utah killed Charlie Kirk. This is revenge for Charlie Kirk.
