Just went on SeatGeek out of curiosity, and the worst seats in the house for Game 4 are going for over $9,000. And if the Knicks win Game 3, I expect they’ll be into five figures.
Imagine dropping a couple of mortgage payments on a game you won’t even be able to see from the seat you’ve bought.

The sight lines from the cheap seats at the Garden aren’t terrible IMO. Regardless though, you’re paying to say you were there, not to see every moment of the game up close.
I think they already announced a few weeks ago that the Penn Station project was moving forward with MSG remaining in its current location. And honestly, while there’s always talk, I find it hard to believe that MSG would move, or at least not for a long long time after the $1 billion renovation they did like 10 years ago.
They’re all corrupt, I hate that he’s going, I hope it’s not a jinx, it’s awful that it’s going to suck all the juice out of the surrounding blocks, but… it’s not some absurd shoe-horned thing that a guy who is a New Yorker and used to make appearances on celebrity row is going to the Knicks game. It is what it is. [shrug]
It’s funny that this should be a huge moment for Knicks fans and it’s being completely overshadowed by Trump.

FWIW I find it super interesting that basically every NY Dem politician (Hochul, Schumer, Jeffries, etc) have made these very critical statements about Donald attending, while Mamdani’s response a few days ago was basically “I welcome all New Yorkers who are excited to cheer on the Knicks to a championship.” And it’s not like he’s the only one who would want to wring money out of Trump for their constituents.
Idk I was starting to think the the Knicks were going to sweep this series too, but all this Trump stuff sounds very foreboding. Like a franchise curse in the making. Wonder what odds I can get on Spurs winning by 40.

Upper upper level is like watching ants play. They have tvs up there which are much easier to follow the actual play. You are there for the atmosphere.
According to Rovell, it got under $4K earlier today, but has been climbing a bit since then.
