Kyrie is basically Kanye. Nobody should take him too seriously even though he falls on legitimate points once in awhile. He’s one of these lemme just take contrarian views because I’m smarter than everyone else dudes.

Of the major pro sports leagues the NBA has to be the one most susceptible to being decimated by a player established alternative league. Most younger fans are loyal to their favorite players, not the teams.

The owners need the players way more than the players need the owners. At the very least the threat of the players doing their own thing should be leveraged to gain concessions from ownership.

The NBA’s currently rocky relationship with China adds extra vulnerability.

I could see a hypothetical where if the players (along with their business partners and agents) had enough solidarity built up they could get an entity like SoftBank to buy in for billions, then sign distribution and endorsement deals centered around the Chinese market. The shoe and apparel companies will follow their star brand ambassadors. Etc etc etc.

It’s a shame he didn’t get the farewell tour he deserved.

He did it lasted 7 years.

Not even for rona???

well only for rona

Edit: Not even for Sharona.

This isn’t going to keep any NBA player fed unless they eat a few of these

That is not ok. There is absolutely no way any large group of rich people who are mostly white that agreed to live in a bubble for months would be served such absolute garbage.

Bernie Madoff excepted.

Not saying they need to have $100 meals but it looks like stuff they ordered for a convention luncheon and never got to use. Also doubt that’s anywhere near the required calories for an NBA player, it might make me full but I only weigh 160 lbs

Counterpoint: Stacy’s Pita Chips are really good

I think they should have $100 meals. I don’t understand why the teams don’t have chefs there.

These are people whose bodies have massive value currently and except for Jamal Crawford in the future.

That was my thought.

Small dudes are still 200 lbs or more usually.

Tyler Ulis gonna have a massive advantage as the only player who’s being fully fueled.
