Amazing game. Westbrook starting for clippers right off the bat.

And now in college today, Iowa beat Michigan State 112-106 in OT.

Tatum is unreal. Horrible game and just drills two late 3s including a game winner.

Tatum played that like a Finals game. Luckily, Philly gave up a 23-3 run to Derrick White and Al Horford lol so he had a chance to hit the winner.

Credit Tucker Boynton:

Since the NBA started tracking play-by-play data in 1996, there are 155 players who have attempted 25+ FGs to tie or take the lead in the final 24 seconds of the 4th quarter (playoffs included).

Jayson Tatum ranks 1st out of 155 with a 51.7% field goal percentage.

Some of that credit goes to coaching that gets good shots. I think Jaylen Brown’s shooting % in the same situation is pretty good, too.

Here’s a related stat. LOL Westbrick.

isn’t lol lebron more appropriate here?

It’s LOL both. I think the historical data also justifies saying lol Kobe, but I haven’t looked at it recently.

But why does Westbrook have so many more 3PA than anyone else on the list?

He has a massive ego. Imagine the guy actually just played to his strengths.

But yeah… Pierce and Kobe both have an abysmal clutch shooting % IIRC.

Weird that dinwiddie is second in made fgs there.

Still think Kobe was the most clutch end of game shooter in history. Probably raised his shooting percentage by 10-20% on end of game shots.

Problem was everyone knew he was taking the shot so he ended up taking shots of such shit quality that his shot he normally makes 8%of the time and was now 25% was still a shit shot.

When someone looked at this stuff several years ago, I remember Kobe had zero game-winning assists while Pierce had the most.

I’m not sure if Jrue is the GOAT clutch defender or Booker is just a choker.
