National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

Three way possible lakers, twolves, jazz with Westbrook, dlo, and Conley as the focus. Dlo going to lakers, Westbrook to jazz, Conley to twolves.

Current rumor is Westbrook to the Jazz, Conley to the TWolves and DeAngelo Russell back with the lakers. less than 24 hours to the deadline i need some woj and shams in my life

Looks like Embiid might be ready to feast.

Celtics favored still.

Seems strange

What the actual fuck is this bullshit? Lakers make horrible move after move and just fail upwards.

itā€™s not like they were doing much better with westbrook. might as well pawn another post-lebron pick that is barely protected.

I donā€™t understand this for the Jazz, maybe Ainge was getting desperate to get in the Wemby sweepstakes.

whats wrong with the jazz side? they just wanted the pick westbrook doesnā€™t matter.

if anything the weirdest part here is Timberwolves. They gave away all their future picks for Gobert (including Kessler who has been very good). Now they traded off KATā€™s best friend in exchange for nothing so just to get rid of him.

Donā€™t they also shed salary as Westbrook on an expiring while Conley has one more year.

yeah ainge has an amazing combination of being more competent at his job than most of his peers and being extremely lucky (see Kessler). tough combo to beat. it is partially guaranteed contract not sure how it effects the cap hit.

I meant they absolutely fleeced them. RWB is trash. They essentially gave up nothing.

I understand this type of trade for the Jazz, I just thought theyā€™d get better value for those 3 players.

As a T-wolves fan Iā€™m just glad they didnā€™t give Russell a terrible extension. Yeah the Gobert trade was completely inexplicable and maybe the worst trade in history.

westbrook is a huge expiring contract and they gave up a barely protcted 1st round pick in the post lebron era. no one fleeced anyone here.

DLo is just Russ on a team nobody watches.

Heā€™s every bit as bad but no one cares.

Now you get someone with term over someone who you would have either had to overpay or would have walked for nothing.

He at least can shoot, so wonā€™t kill the Lakers spacing.

Celtics down 4 starters VS Philly after Tatum broke JBā€™s face with an elbow. Good times.
