Hereā€™s a solid one.

I kinda hope he goes to a super team and then losses in the conference finals.

Him, cp3, and Booker getting swept would be glorious

So Portis 4/49 was still a steal for the Bucks.

Seriously, money in sports is getting pretty wild. What year do we see the first $1B contract signed?

It is

Probably never just because NBA/Soccer contracts are shorter.
Mbappe just got Ā£500m for 5 years, if it was legal to sign him for 10 he gets it

JTA nooooooooo!!!

The more I read about him the more I like him.

He could definitely get some playing time in San Antone this year.

Lakers finally got their big 3 with Lebron, AD, and JTA

Fuck all billionaires obviously, and obviously pro the workers. But this shit is kinda ridiculous with players signing 5 year max contracts then demanding trades.

Handful of mega stars probably going to fuck a lot of other players.

Worried we might lose a season of a couple dudes primes due to lockout. No way teams are cool with this shit.

Jokic deal looking like a bargain when you see Beal getting $250 mill.

Yeah, couple of dudes going to lose players on the whole power and hard to say it isnā€™t what should happen

I usually think itā€™s a Boomer opinion but yah seems like the players in the NBA are mega petulant even by US sport standards.

I spit out my drink reading this one. Dort is a decent player, but 90 Million? GTFO.

Thatā€™s 4 mill a year more than Bobby Portis. Same as Markannen. Less than Fournier.

Not sure how real this is, but I am prepared to :leolol:

I think Durant wants to go to Phoenix, but Brooklyn would prefer what Boston could give them. Iā€™m not convinced that the Celtics would trade Jaylen Brown. I suspect any conversation was initiated by the Nets and its possible that Boston is more interested in picking up some of the salaries that might get moved in a Durant trade.

Itā€™d be full circle with the KG and Pierce for pile of assets trade. KD is great but heā€™s almost 34 and has had his share of injuries. Big yikes for me.
