National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

Drays antics are so damn annoying. I can already feel him getting tossed in a game soon and it might cost the team the NBA finals AGAIN. Can’t believe you don’t learn after you screwed up the greatest season of all time for your team lol.

Dunno how Steph deals with it. Couldn’t imagine working with a dude who screams at everyone.

Can’t deny how impactful he’s been to this teams success though. He’s always been their 2nd best player. Well outside of KD years obv

This is the greatest post I have ever read

Beyond the obvious of letting Draymond get away with murder while denying Smart the right to play basic defense, the body language doctor was live in attendance and said Udoka’s and the C’s interaction with the refs was that of people who knew that the NBA rigged games like this and wouldn’t let them take the first two games on road no matter what.

What are you even supposed to do at that point, walk off the court and call out Silver for rigging the game? And kill the golden goose?

That’s why Udoka pulled his guys super early, knew the refs were in no mood to call Steph’s patented push offs like they did the first game.

Adam Silver isn’t a fool, blowouts are fine in the early rounds but the Finals have to be close.

I honestly don’t know if I’m getting leveled or not.

All I ask is game 3 isn’t more Draymond bullshit that ends up penalizing the Celtics. Still floored he gets the benefit of the doubt when he tackles someone right in front of a ref, while they simultaneously call touch fouls on the other end.

I just want some old school NBA enforcer action if that happens again. Send Theis out to break his leg or something.

Watching him go at LeBron in 2016 was hilarious. Pretty sure he’d get snapped in half like a twig.

Cs are 82% in the Raptor model. Weren’t they 80% before the series started? Splitting is only worth 2%?

Man I hope you bet you net worth on the warriors

Betting heavily on Celtics throughout series to cash in on their glaring superiority but Haralabos Voulgaris correctly said to stay away from game 2 due to riggage and was smart enough to listen.

Correct that should have gone all in on Warriors game 2 but hard to believe that refs actually have the balls to rig hard enough to carry such a mediocre team until you actually see it.

They were down 29 when Udoka pulled his guys lol.

If they were really 80% pre-series, (they weren’t) splitting is the minimum expectation for the first two games.

I genuinely don’t get people who get mad that NBA/NHL officiating is more lenient in the playoffs. There have been some games with a ton of FT/penalties and refs deciding those games. Those games suck! These games aren’t as physical as the 80s or 90s, it’s stuff from like 2010.

Refs aren’t more lenient. They let one side play “physical” and call the exact same stuff on the other team when they “match the physicality.”

Smart players like Draymond know this and push the edge to the max. Congrats to Warriors fans for having a player that knows how to “lean in” to the riggage to become unbeatable in certain games.

Was like 11 minutes left. Draymond himself said he was extremely shocked they quit so early.

Their win probability was sub 1%.

Boston has been absolutely flopping all playoffs and you choose the game you’re down by 30 after 3 to say it’s rigged and the refs are against you? Come on man. You got soundly outplayed. Maybe Boston is better! But they are way bigger than GSW and if they are being pushed around largely by guys who are 6’ shorter and 50 lb lighter, that’s their own problem.

I’m not a Boston fan, I’m a Boston bettor. Bet them game 1, stayed away from the riggage game 2 and bet the series at a nice price after game 2 when the market overreacted to the riggage fueled “beatdown.”

Everyone 100% knows this is true:

What they don’t factor in is that the players also know it’s true and how that affects the flow of the game beyond the advantage gained via rigged calls/non-calls.
