Jfc if I would have told you Tatum 3/17 and spotting you 11.5, how fast would you have emptied your bank account?
I do think we get too wrapped up in âwell this person had a bad game and they still won so this series is overâ
Tatum will play better. Horford and White will shoot worse. Otto Porter will shoot worse. Klay will be more involved. (He took 14 shots?)
GS will still be favored Sunday by 3-3.5.

Kind of wild Celtics are usually bad in the 4th and warriors usually really good.
Honestly donât really see the warriors winning this series.
Not sure the Celtics are bad in the fourth. Feels like they handle adversity really well. They handle leads poorly. Theyâve collapsed a lot but theyâve also made plenty of comebacks this playoffs

I guess a positive way to look at it is Celtics have been a great away team and below average home team winning more on the road. And you know their shooting isnât really that great so itâll come way back down.
Still like 70/30 favorites now though.
First time the warriors have lost a game 1 at home since 2016 against the thunder. I think thatâs also part of why itâs so shocking. Game 1 is usually their game.
All in all Celtics are a great team so losing to them isnât the worst. If so hope big AL gets his fmvp
Probably need to play curry 40+ minutes a game team was absolutely atrocious with him on the bench.
Curry is pretty inconsistent in the finals because of shooting variance so loosing one of his good games is a huge blow.

Was Bostonâs size a factor? Was curious if Smart would be guarding Steph all night or if Tatum would be getting some minutes.
Horford is definitely an easy guy to root for.
Warriors had like two good looks to go up 17 late in the third, then curry sat, offense stagnated and Boston hit 7 3s in a row.
Not much else to say.
Boston didnât use their size, was just a 3 pt contest all game.

Listened to a couple analysts break down the game and they still seemed to favor the warriors so I guess I still got some hope. Think naturally I want to emotionally hedge.
Should probably drop some money on the Celtics to help with that too.

I mean a big part of that is noise because they ran insanely hot from 3, but its clear Poole is a massive defensive liability and theyâre going to have to cut his minutes a lot. With how bad he is defensively, unless heâs getting us big offense heâs a negative on the court.
Poole and Dray are mainly why they lost that game. I mean yeah the insane shooting luck too, but Poole and Dray were completely awful and if they played at least decent its 20+ points lead in the 4th and a different outcome.
I was surprised when I looked at the box score, and Tatum was the only player on either team that went 40 minutes. Maybe itâs the right move, I dunno.
I donât think folks should overreact to a game where Horford and White go a combined 11-16 from 3. Seems bizarre to so wildly flip the series odds after that.
Thought the Payton Pritchard minutes were very good. Assume we will see more of him and less of Grant Williams. The little fella is a pesky rebounder.

The three White hit where, first he pump faked, Curry contested well without fouling and then White immediately went up again with Curry inches away was absurd. I donât even think it was late in the shot clock - it was a horrific shot to take, went in.

Iâm going to set a Guinness World Record for number of times watching Steph make a hard basket look easy, then muttering to my dog, âI mean, what can you doâŚâ while I slowly shake my head and shrug sadly.
