National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

Yeah I remember playing a drinking game in February where every time UK against South Carolina did something dumb we took a drink. It got pretty brutal. One month later they completely balled out against Wichita St, Louisville, Michigan, Wisconsin, just to finally come down to earth against UConn. Fucking UConn.

That 2014 Wichita St team might have been my favorite non UK team I can think of too

Edit: Actually no

  1. 2013 FGCU
  2. 2014 Wichita St

this is subject to change as I think more

Thatā€™s something up for negotiation. The owners can opt out of the collective bargaining agreement under the force majeure provision, but they pushed the deadline back for doing so. I think there is general optimism that the two sides will reach an accommodation.

FGCU was a fun team, but they had no win equity, so I think Iā€™ve got Wichita St ahead in my rankings of teams whose losses I was most gutted by.

Understand, and if I wasnā€™t a UK fan Iā€™d probably switch them.

Iā€™ve been trying to think of other teams

If 2019 UCF had beat Duke they would probably crack my top 2 on the absurdity of Tacko Fall beating Zion. So close too.

Butler losing to Duke was a bit tough, but they did overachieve to get there, so it didnā€™t feel like they got robbed, but it still stung. They clearly werenā€™t the best or second best team in that tournament. Stevens did coach the shit out of them, though.

Bledsoe questionable for Game 1. Big hit to the perimeter defense if he canā€™t go.

thatā€™s correct but that Kentucky game was wild, nobody could defend the other team. (Kentucky shouldā€™ve been a 6 based on resume, 2/3 from floor talent) I figure Wichita probably wins the whole thing if they get out of that game.

The Illinois North Carolina title game had a bunch of quality players but only one on each side made it in the NBA. Lots of guys are just really good college players who donā€™t make it simply from size/length in the pros.

Giannis is a complete fraud will never win anything

Well that felt gross rooting for CP3 in crunch time of a playoff game and rooting against Russ. Game 7 babyyyyyyyyyyyy

Marcus Smart may be my current favorite NBA player.

Lol Craptors. How you gonna let my man SMARTACUS drain 5 3s on ya? He shouldā€™ve hit them with the MJ shrug.

2nd rule of new SE Seadood is banned if he ever joins

Thatā€™s wild stuff.

Embarrassment to the game both teams eliminated imo

Noted basketball genius Snyder with two great ATOs there.

O/u line at 217.5 and the final total was 158. What an abysmal showing from both teams.

They were extremely fatigued could tell at end of G6. Lol oddsmakers.

I love watching Tyler Herro play. Off the charts drip too

I think Miami might fuck around and win the ship
