Yeah I remember playing a drinking game in February where every time UK against South Carolina did something dumb we took a drink. It got pretty brutal. One month later they completely balled out against Wichita St, Louisville, Michigan, Wisconsin, just to finally come down to earth against UConn. Fucking UConn.
That 2014 Wichita St team might have been my favorite non UK team I can think of too
Thatās something up for negotiation. The owners can opt out of the collective bargaining agreement under the force majeure provision, but they pushed the deadline back for doing so. I think there is general optimism that the two sides will reach an accommodation.
Butler losing to Duke was a bit tough, but they did overachieve to get there, so it didnāt feel like they got robbed, but it still stung. They clearly werenāt the best or second best team in that tournament. Stevens did coach the shit out of them, though.
thatās correct but that Kentucky game was wild, nobody could defend the other team. (Kentucky shouldāve been a 6 based on resume, 2/3 from floor talent) I figure Wichita probably wins the whole thing if they get out of that game.
The Illinois North Carolina title game had a bunch of quality players but only one on each side made it in the NBA. Lots of guys are just really good college players who donāt make it simply from size/length in the pros.
