All Cops Are Bad and everything, but isn’t this an easy case of having security throw out people that misbehave? Isn’t that why they’re there?
Yeah, I think so. Fortunately, nothing really bad happened and afaict it was/will be handled ok. I get it’s entertainment and Shaq (wannabe cop) and Charles are mostly just funnin’ but I expected some pushback from the other two.

Weird because the kids getting absolutely crucified online and we don’t really know what happened. He could have been being a massive asshole, or it could’ve been he was being awkward and the Paul family massively overreacted. Unwanted hugs just seems… a weird thing to say for such a reaction.
Damn I still had Celtics winning this series but no timelord is a huge blow and its not looking good so far.
Still think bucks are an easier match up for the warriors than the bucks though so thats a silver lining if they win. Their huge switchable defense is nasty against teams like Warriors. Giannis could go for 50 every game against GSW and it won’t matter if GSW is shooting an avg game.
Bucks defense is more locking down the paint but their twin towers either get pulled out of the paint or they get the lights shot out from deep.
Can we just skip to the finals? We get it league - you want Giannis again.
It really feels like this is now basketball based sports entertainment. There’s absolutely 0 joy in watching one team get an 80s/90s whistle on defense and current whistle on offense.

I don’t think shit is league driven. Giannis isn’t some huge ratings dude. I think most reffing comes down to personal ref biases and shit. They like certain players and dislike others. They like certain styles, especially ones that get them more involved and give them more control.
Like with floppers. There are tons of super infamous floppers. If they wanted it to stop, they would stop giving those people so many whistles, but they don’t. They give them more. Celtics coach said the refs told him they aren’t calling a charge if the player doesn’t fall down even lol.
Only thing I don’t buy is refs are just inconsistent but perfectly unbiased and their job is just hard. Shit it was too inconsistent and leaning towards often home teams too much for it to be that.

Boston is only a better matchup without Middleton. Add an all star to this Bucks team, the guy who gets the ball with 2 minutes left and they are a lot better!
Does Giannis complain after foul calls very often compared to other star players? Players who don’t would probably curry bias from me if I was an official.

We’re up to 2 or 3 uncalled offensive fouls on Giannis already. Nothing like drawing a foul by elbowing someone in the face. This saps all the joy out of this.

He’s definitely in that class of guys who kind of have to be officiated a bit differently.
The next time there is a labor issue between the refs and the league, the refs should call every foul and travel or other violation strictly by the letter of the law and make games unwatchable slow until the league caves.

Agreed. I think back to Shaq and almost every time he was fouled it almost appeared as if he was fouling someone because of the size disparity.
