This would be so good. Terrible decision to make Brad Pitt the main character. I’d have been fine if he was the journalist visiting everyone for the different stories, but it was dumb coming up with an entirely new character and new story just to use the name of the novel.

Impulsively submitted this ballot just now. Made me realize just how few of my favorite films were made in the last 25 years. Probably I would switch out 7-8 of these if I did it again tomorrow lol. Pretty ridiculous that Charlie Kaufman wrote three of these, meh. Best of the lot either Mulholland Drive or Ending Things.

I’m dumbfounded. Blank Check podcast recent episode covers 28 Years Later and holy crap, they came so hard watching this movie. I wanted a WHIFF of criticism or complaint, but they are slobbering all over it.
The general social media reaction is every critic giving it 5* and the tiktok reviewers giving it 2*.
I think it was better than Sinners and pretty easily the best thing so far in 2025.
I don’t recommend their Shyamalan series.
