I remembered Samuel L. Jackson acknowledging that on Twitter one time, and I still decided that he was just enjoying the meme and not correcting it.
Honestly, before I made the post, I went to the search bar and typed “Look at the big brain” and it pre-filled “on Brad” for me. And I nodded and went, “Okay, I’m right,” and posted. And here we are.
I’ve had worse one-word misses. Back in high school, I was quoting Jim Carrey’s elevator exchange in Liar Liar and said that he said, “I mean, your boobs are big.” And my friend insisted that he said “your boobs are huge.” And I doubled down that I was correct. And then I bet him $5 that I was correct. I was incorrect. That’s one way to spend $5.
You are of course correct. But he’s in an industry where I doubt he’s a huge departure from the norm in that way, and yet he’s the one whose aging has looked so good that he’s the one to call up when this topic comes up.
