Same. It was stunningly boring. I was very happy to see him return to form so quickly with OUAT.
I gotta get around to seeing Death Proof…

Death Proof is great. Hard to compare to the others since it is so short.
Too much Hateful Eight hate itt.
Is it his worst? Probably.
Is it entertaining? Definitely.
Always surprised how much hate Hateful Eight gets on this board. Thought it was some classic Tarantino. Watched it several times and entertained from beginning to end.
Meh
I saw it in theaters on a very good date with a girl who loves cinema. I did not enjoy the movie.
Thanks, i was going crazy like wait is it terrible? I liked it, didn’t I?
Well it’s been a long time since I saw it. I’ll revisit and hopefully have a similar experience as LKJ with IB.
I honestly expected a big upgrade for Hateful Eight when I watched it recently. Emerged from the experience kind of hating it because it just inherently feels foolish to sit there and reconfirm an opinion of “long and boring.” It was right to try again, because process matters more than results and the combination of “lots of people love this and overall it gets positive reviews” and a top-tier director means that a rewatch is probably in order…but boy does it feel bad when it just misses for a second time. Doubly so when it’s like 2:45 long and feels like five hours.
I still can’t summon the will to try again with A Clockwork Orange 20 years after my first viewing though.
I don’t know. I still might end up doing it. But boy am I not excited about the prospect.
Saw H8 in the theater and don’t remember what I thought about it. Don’t think i disliked it though.
Welp, my revisit will have to wait. It’s on Netflix but is locked behind the more expensive streaming plans.

Mesmerizing.
I was able to see Kane in the theater just over a month ago and I already want to run it back again. Tremendous movie.

Sad. Hackman got a good 95 years, but his wife was only 63, and their dog died as well. Don’t know if it was a gas leak or what, but they ruled out foul play.
At Salem, everyone is most upset when they learn a dog was killed along with some witches.
Clearly, a cat framed the dog.
Are you calling Hackman a witch?
Farewell to the greatest criminal mind of our time
He even slapped Denzel Washington and got away with it. Kind of…
