Agreed, enjoyed it so much I ordered a framed film poster

This looks most triumphant.

It looks like the exact same movie as Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, with the potential to be either slightly less or significantly more awful.

Just caught the last 30 minutes or so of Yesterday. I had already seen it a couple times, but itā€™s just a lovely movie.

I look forward to a 0%/100% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics vs audience

I enjoyed it except for the ending, fun little movie otherwise

Iā€™m not sure where this puts your opinion on the Jay and silent Bob Reboot. It wasnā€™t Kevin Smithā€™s best work, but it had a few laughs and was worth the watch for fans of his other films.

As for face the music, we will have to wait and see. I will probably wait on this one, and if stoner film fans donā€™t like it, it will go to the bottom of the list.

RIP Alan Parker :frowning:

He made some great films. Sad his last one is among the worst ever made!

Nah Evita wasnā€™t his last movie

Not sure quite how Iā€™ve gone through 50yrs+ of life to now be saying TIL that Spartacus was directed by Stanley Kubrick

I havenā€™t felt duped by a movie in so long untilā€¦ MULAN.

I had high hopes. Thought it would be really good and likely the best live action remake of a disney property. Not so much. The movie was awful. Four disjointed scenes make up 90% of the movie. Slow, plodding melodrama. Too serious to be a kidā€™s movie, too idiotic to be an adultā€™s movie. I legitimately think this movie made me racist - like do Chinese people like this trash?!

It has all of the nationalism and reverence for wushu youā€™d expect of a chinese film ā€¦ but the wire fu was awful. The physics never made sense, they ignore all of the classic rules of ā€œanimeā€ fighting, and theyā€™re boring. Several fights where our two mains are surrounded by 50 men waving swords back and forth instead of just attacking the two of them.

Several glaring continuity errors. Some of them were literally the focus of the previous shot. For example, at a certain point Mulan summons some courage for a fight - she brushes the dust off of herself, gets up, says a few words of encouragement to boost morale, and then removes her armor defiantly as if sheā€™s about to fight in her simple clothes. The camera fades to black andā€¦ cuts to her walking out on to the battlefield in the armor she just took off.

So bad. So expensive and bad.

Nothing at all close to me, but damn this would be awesome. Imagine how many people will get into drunken fender benders or just pass out until the next morning. Wake up, put on a mask, stroll into Wally World for some brekky and coffee.

Saw this in the theaters as a yute. Have seen it a bunch of times since then. Gave me a soft spot for Val Kilmer forever.

I remember really enjoying the remake of Murder on the Orient Express. Looking forward to this one.

Haha I got like 99% of the way through creating a Kubrick-themed werewolf game in the old 22/pog days a few years back, before that I was also unaware that he directed it. Iā€™m not sure who I thought it was but I had no idea
it was Kubrick.
