Watch 7 Psychopaths if you haven’t seen it (or just re-watch it because Woody and Rockwell are in it)
The Moon was fantastic and that’s just Rockwell talking to himself for a couple hours. It’s like Bronson where it absolutely needed a special actor and it still worked wonderfully.
Dude, spoilers
From the very first scene they make it clear he is working alone on the Moon with only his station’s AI for company. The movie is mostly him in a room alone talking to a disembodied voice.
Psh.
Would be pretty cool if you fixed it. Moon is a hidden gem and modern minimalist masterpiece.
David Bowie’s ghost is gonna rape you in your dreams Trumpian doctor style if you don’t.
I did a second after his post (despite being convinced of my own innocence) but clearly RISKY DOESNT CARE ABOUT SPOILING MOVIES . ShaaaaAAame!
GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR FLUSH
LOL I’ll fix mine!!!
Spoiler anecdote:
When the movie Apollo 13 came out, one of my classmates told me she was planning to see it over the weekend. My deadpan response was, “Such a good movie, but it’s so sad when they all die at the end.” I see her on Monday in class and she is pissed. Tells me that she cried the entire second half of the movie because she thought they were all going to die.
That’s pretty good. I’m always attempting the regular version of this troll by highly recommending “Bridge To Terabithia.”
That movie wrecked me when I first saw it.
Watched Buffaloed last night. The plot was pretty silly, but Zoey Deutch has a commanding screen presence, and has better acting chops than her mom.
I love that movie. It holds up for laughs on a rewatch. Agree, she has a bright future ahead of her. She was also very good in the Netflix movie Set It Up.
Can’t decide my ratio of excitement to fear…
Messing with perfection always has me worried.
Wait, what? There already was already a a sequel. It was great.
It sounds like whatever he’s planning is going to be much less a continuation than Fallen Angles was. Also,
Just don’t expect cinematographer Christopher Doyle to return.
Yeah, Doyle’s cinematography is half of what I loved about Wong’s earlier movies, and his post-collaboration work clearly suffers from the absence.
Gonna spam WKW/Christopher Doyle clips now.
Right I forgot about out that. Interesting.
oooooooo. A mid nineties Asian film getting praise from you guys that I haven’t seen is getting me excited. Say no more; this will be next in the queue.
Oh dude. It’s in my top three all time. You are in for a treat!
Without going in to detail what are the other 2?
It shifts all time but number one is always Before Sunset. Other top three would probably be Pulp Fiction or Godfather Part II.
