fuck yeah TWBB
All I know about this movie:
- Regarded as one of the best films of the 21st century.
- DDL got his 2nd of 3 Oscars for it.
- Based on an Upton Sinclair novel.
- The milkshake quote.
Thatâs about it. Excited for this.
One of my favorites. Itâs a slow burn that manages to keep you hooked the entire way. I thought it should have won Best Picture over No Country For Old Men.
Are we doing Discord or just this thread for this movie?
Just the thread for me
Eh idk, I love both movies but No Country has just a slight edge for me. Iâd have had no problem if this one had won BP though.
I also think Anton was a better character, but Day-Lewisâ Plainview was the better performance of the two.
12 minutes until showtime.
Got Netflix opened and the film paused at 1 second.
Feel like this is a movie I should have seen several years ago. I am excite.
Itâs a total acid trip.
I invited my wife and she said no.
I said are you sure?
She said yes. Sheâs sure.
rewind twenty seconds
RiskyFlush Wife: Whatâs it about?
Risky: digging for oil in early 19th century
Almost time for milkshakes
Stumbled on the thread at 9pm. Nothing better to do. Love DDLâs acting. Seen this once before. Not drunk yet. Short sentences. Go.
dat swell
I donât think heâs digging for oil here and itâs 1898
Glad the whole movie isnât as dark as that Game of Thrones episode.
One of my favorite movies but canât join until maybe later. Enjoy!
