He has had no starters for almost the entire season–he has no choice. He can get 6-7 innings from Flaherty, 3-4 from Yamamoto (maybe he’s up to 5 now). Bueler is good for 4-5, and each series requires at least one bullpen game.

They have three pitchers they brought up to the majors in the last 7-10 days of the season as relievers who are pitching in the playoffs with 2-3 innings of big league experience, each. Why didn’t they bring up some starters? Because they have none–everyone is injured.

The Mets have four pitchers on their postseason roster who threw 100+ innings this year. The Dodgers had to trade for Flaherty to have one.

They’ll probably get past the Mets by winning a game 15-14, but they’re gonna get murdered by the Yankees when every game needs to use 4-5 pitchers, none of whom can have a bad outing or it starts a chain of dominoes.

I agree if it’s Yankees Dodgers that LA pitching is going to get bludgeoned.

If we move to roboumps, we won’t get to see them fist pump their idiot calls.

Yea that was bad. Should be first and second right now. Huge blown call

Damn

Hey the Mets did a thing

another Clase disaster incoming. how could it not??

Clase smiling after finally getting through an inning might send my lawnmower into orbit if I was an Indian fan

Incredible. Listen to that crowd. It’s like they’re in the Bronx

In retrospect, the Royals held the Yanks bats in check really well. Our hitters just went ice cold.

Soto is going to get as much at Ohtani at this rate.

What an at bat.

So a Subway series or Yanks/Doogs?

This is the darkest timeline

Dodgers/Yankees. Meh. At least there will be some amazing players. Hope it’s a good one.

The Astros spared you from this for over a decade. You’re welcome.
