imagine trading your closer because lol closers and barely missing the playoffs and watching the team you traded him to barely make it and end up in the world series, and now you are stuck between a division rival winning the world series or making a results oriented one of the more boneheaded trades in quite some time in just a few months.
Canzone and Rojas helped the mariners down the stretch. Sewald has been amazing this post season but he wasnât that great vs the Astros last year.

Diamondbacks only second team to make WS with negative run differential. First won it all, but probably not the team you think (i.e. the WS champ with the worst regular season record).

Philly radio angry. Baseball is a fickle sport. The margins are so small. Bottom line is that
AZ pitched to the lowish strike zone to great success
PH pitchers made more mistakes up.
PH hitters did not adjust to the zone and got frustrated.
Phillies just got beat. They were a streaky team all year and they just couldnât sustain the âhotâ side long enough.
