Saw something something that Mariners have a horrible record in rain delayed games. Of course, they should only compare that to their road record, cause all their rain delays would be away from Seattle.
rofl tigazzzzz
Too soon
What a hillariously terrible 0-2 pitch
Let’s have another one tomorrow!
How tall is the home plate ump in this Yankees/Blue Jays game? He towers over everyone and even seems to be taller than Judge. Optical illusion?
Oh yea that ump is a giant. Like 7’0” tall
6’7”
A-Rod asking how Toronto has a bullpen game in Game 4 when they had a first round bye. It’s a valid point.
Their other starters have been getting knocked around for weeks. Lauer hasn’t started a game since August. They have 3 effective starters so that’s what they put on the roster.
They had two starters on the IL when the season ended, and Max Scherzer, who’s been complete ass in September.
If ARod would, you know, do his job, he might know why the Jays’ rotation is how it is.
Is it just me or is it weird with 4 elimination games today they are starting 2 hours apart instead of 3?
It’s a little weird but I think it’s safe to say it’s tv related. FS1 is covering the American League games which are scheduled to start at 3pm and 7pm. Assuming the first game ends at about 6pm, they only have to fill an hour before the next game begins. But if the games were at noon and 6pm they would have way too much time to fill between games or they would have to go back to soccer games or whatever they do in regular programming. Same with TBS. Their games currently start at 5pm and 9pm. Change that to 3pm and 9pm and they’ll have to throw in a bunch of Seinfeld reruns in between.
I took as he was saying Toronto still has a major problem even if they beat the Yankees.
If Bassitt comes back, they should be ok. If he doesn’t, they probably have to start Scherzer and that is indeed a major problem.
Cal Raleigh hit home run #61 last night to a Seattle fan in the front row wearing a shirt that said “Dump 61 Here”. After the fan caught it on the bounce, he takes off his shirt and has a “Dump 62 Here” on underneath!
I’ve got a good one. So a little while back I read the story of Volpe’s dad getting banned from the Mets stadium for getting into it with a fan who was heckling his son.
So we go to the Jay’s games this past weekend. On Sunday we are standing at the back of section 116. The last dozen or so rows of that section are all Yankees family and staff.
Anthony Volpe is up to bat and strikes out. Dude standing 5 feet to my right yells “Volpe, you bum”
This man, five rows in front of us, turns all the way around, points his finger at all of us and says “Hey, that’s my son you’re talking about. Who the fuck said that?” Of course it’s Volpe’s father and I can’t believe this is going to happen again. I am beside myself.
They start jawing back and forth. Volpe’s dad gets up and says his going to kick his ass and charges up the stairs yelling, just losing his shit. They call for security. Cops show up and escort Volpe’s dad out.
Eventually they decide he cannot return to his seat but they will let him lean against a pillar on the concourse and they assigned security to him.
The man must have the thinnest skin ever. I mean, your son in an MLB player. You’ve already won.
Ooof, rough end of the inning for Seattle there
