If the Dodgers go on to lose and the Braves lose Game 4, the top five teams in MLB (in terms of record) will end up winning ONE game in the playoffs.

Every team that has beaten the Brewers in the playoffs has made the World Series and all but one has won the World Series (all but two if you count the 1981 Yankees in the strike-split season).

Especially playoffs, where teams shorten their rotations. A big difference between elite and merely good teams is often their depth.
