The last fast guy with power - two guys come to mind for me: Rickey Henderson and Eric Davis.

See to me this is actually one of the better ones because so many of them are fugly monstrosities. Give me a plain black and red jersey over the padres’ pink and green Miami vice throw up any day
Fun fact: the last Reds player to hit for a cycle was…Eric Davis in 1989.
Oh, and his jersey #…also 44
I just knew he was going to go 30-80 one year.
You got yours, i got mine.
@BenVerlander
SHOHEI OHTANI WITH HIS MLB LEADING 25TH HOME RUN FOR THE LEAD!!
Ohtani needs a triple for the cycle which is very much in play @ Coors.
down to +9000
in just two days how much lower will it keep going
Ohtani and Trout go back to back at Coors. Both 434ft.
Rockies win 7-4.
ellyectric.
This dude is fucking awesome, looks like a sold out stadium there too which I’m guessing hasn’t happened for the Reds in a while. Jealous of those fans
weren’t people just roasting the organization last year or early this year for not fielding a real MLB team, apparently they just amassed a ridiculous amount of talent in the minors?
Vasgersian has a “Troutahni” call which apparently means this.
Yep, sold out, and no, that hasn’t happened often. Opening day is always sold out, but back in April they had their lowest recorded attendance ever…now this. It’s been absolutely amazing.
And yeah, you remember correctly. The owner’s an arrogant ass, they traded away all their “best” talent, and people were telling him to sell the team. Turns out, all these prospects decided to ball out at the same time and here we are.
Fuck you, Elon.
Unfortunately, it appears that Twitter has suspended our use of the Twitter API, so we were unable to Tweet out the scorecards this morning. This issue is affecting many users, include other popular automated baseball Twitter accounts
Acuna is currently on pace for like 35 HR and 70 SB
The owners aren’t geniuses who had some big brain master plan. They freaked out after the covid season and slashed payroll, but luckily backed into this from front office and developmental people binking every draft and trade. The GM is a Billy Beane Moneyball era graduate who seems good at evaluating talent, but some of the smarter developmental people quit. Will be interesting to see if they can sustain it like the Rays or if it’s just a flash in the pan.
And Corbs is even faster with better power than him.
The key to the Rays success is that while they are cheap in the majors, they are not with respect to prospects and staff. Seems the Reds are just cheap overall so going to be hard to sustain.
SELL THE TEAM
(Some Youtuber started a Cincinnati sports media channel that’s gaining traction and he wants Elon Musk to buy the team, so in that regard please do not sell the team.)
Yeah some are definitely worse.
