Major League Baseball (Part 1)

LMAO Mets giving nine-figure contracts to 40-year-old has-beens.

Brewers just went back-to-back-to-back off Scherzer. Who’d a thunk it.

In bowling they call that a turkey.

If anybody has any players they hate let me know and I’ll pick them up in fantasy. RIP Kenta Maeada.

Disagree. It’s what makes baseball baseball—the suspense.

He wasn’t even close to being ready. Would be another 3-4 seconds before he was in the box ready.

It actually is though. That’s the beauty of baseball

Bottom 8th. 1 out. Game 3 of the World Series 1-1

Guy on second in a 3-2 game.

It’s tension for minutes and minutes

I love the pitch clock but JS is wrong on this one

Generally speaking, I like the pitch clock, but one of my main concerns has been how it could negatively affect the drama in a close game in the late innings. I think the easiest fix would be to extend the clock time by five or ten seconds, or dispense with it entirely if a game is within a run entering the ninth.

I would be cool with no pitch clock in 8th and beyond for playoff games.

STRIKE THREE CALLED :leolol:

Tossed for arguing balls and strikes. :leolol:

I read the comments :harold: to this thread and on Youtube and the purist logic is amazing.

Also,

but that didn’t happen because this:

Can’t find the tweet, but yesterday, the Brewers became the first team in MLB history to hit back-to-back-to-back homers in one inning and then back-to-back in the next inning. Very random stat. As an added bonus, two of the home run hitters were the same in both innings.

Took my three year old to see Ohtani. My kid will probably end up hating me if they become a life long mariners fan but she did enjoy the cotton candy.

they should become a life long ohtani fan. 100% of the baseball games I went to featured Ohtani.

Fun fact, Ohtani became the first person to strike out 8 batters while driving in the winning run in a 4-3 win over the Mariners on passover since Tungsten Arm O’Doyle famous game during 1904’s Seder dinner.

This is the problem sports have. They create too much friction to watch everything you want to watch. I have a link that lets me bring up any sports event in less than thirty seconds.

It’s not just a cost issue, they have to make it easier to access the content.

I have good luck using google chrome with ad blocker for dealing with most of those annoying ads.

The MLB TV app is awful for this. So much time wasted watching a spinning baseball animation.
