I was there yesterday and it was a WTF moment for sure

Next batter destroys a ball to CF and trout robs a 2 run triple

That was a weird catch. Also this:

(The problem isn’t what this guy is saying. It’s that WAR and especially dWAR is spaghetti code logic nonsense.)

So odd that nobody accuses him of being on the juice when he’s roping at 43.

Only against lefties though. He’s basically just a platoon hitter now. His OPS is close to 1.200 against lefties and .600 against righties.

Im just saying, I know a certain other baseball player who was roping at 43 and everyone was so convinced he was juicing he didnt get a sniff at the HoF for ten years, but yeah, sure, Pujols is amazing and totally a first ballotter Jerking off motion Fuck, I hate the duality bullshit of baseball and the writers association

This lady on the Dodgers broadcast is incredible.

Tommy Edman’s dWAR is worth more than Gerrit Cole’s entire season according to BREF (2.8 > 2.4). Think about that. Would you rather have a replacement level pitcher make 25 starts as your ace or a replacement level utility infielder split time between SS/2B? That’s 25 starts of Marco Gonzalez and you get Edman’s defense, or 25 starts with Cole and Merrifield’s defense (approx).

wat

Exactly.

Pujols has had an age related decline though. The Greatest Of All Time got better in his late 30s which was a different kettle of fish.

Lots of guys have spikes of 5 fWAR between their age 35 and age 36 seasons.

I can’t watch the Little League World Series because the players bust out crying when they lose. Poor little fellas.

Pretty epic regular season game at Citizens Bank today. Thought about leaving during the rain delay, glad I stayed. LFGM.

Inject this straight into my veins:
