MLB update: The TV / streaming situation is as stupid as any sport ever and the umpires are still fucking terrible.
So seems like I need local cable TV (lol), Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, and MLB.tv to have a chance of seeing any game I’d like to watch this year? I have 0/4 aorn.
Youtube tv or fubo should work too
I have YoutubeTV. Basically limited to whatever ESPN and MLBN have.
Ump show in Atlanta. Absolutely disgraceful.
Blue Jays suck, tear it all down
Mega grunch, but you can buy MLB.TV for half off ($70) via this link: https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games/subscribe/mlbpaa2022discount
It’s targeted for people who’ve paid $25 for annual dues to the MLBPA Alumni Association (or something) but AFAIK it’s not enforced.
Maybe not all of it.
Fuck Apple TV and exclusive rights to the one game I really want to watch - My Angels, and Ohtani.
Do you have T Mobile for your cell phone? If you do you can get MLB.tv premium for free ($130 value)
Blue Jays suck, tear it all down
Not so fast…
No, but I’d have no problem paying for the subscrip if I could actually watch all of the games. I used to buy it every year but I can’t support this buffoonery anymore. Like, maybe they should contract another dozen providers to take exclusive games and break up the broadcasting rights to as many different paid streaming services as possible.
Also don’t even wanna look to see which games are actually in the cable package I’ve already paid for. Apple being able to scoop a Friday night HOU @ LAA right off the top prob means lol_espn will have 95% Yankees / Red Sox.
100% for those two teams I’d guess
Blue Jays rule, 162-0 baby
Ms on pace for 162-0 with a +162 run differential.
Anybody on pace to hit over 162 HR?
Would have guessed yes, but the answer seems to be no as of right now.
Only 2 people have 2 HR, and they are both Astros who have played 2 games.

This Witt Jr. kid might be pretty good.
My mom taking four tries to text woo hoo.
Witt Jr is major hype and legit. His projected level as a player is “all-star.” There’s another huge prospect debuting tomorrow and it’s something you almost never see:
A genuine 80/80 fastball for Reds prospect Hunter Greene. I’ve been hearing about this dude for years, and he’ll finally make his first start tomorrow at Atlanta. Throws the easiest 103 mph fastball you’ve ever seen.
