I find it weird how Americans hate the fake injuries/flopping in soccer but catcher framing is a skill

well, there’s a clear difference

no, ducy

Still off the rails as we’re at 30 runs and counting.

I’m sorry you can’t

The Cubs have scored 10 and 13 runs in their last 2 games and lost both

David Bote sprained his right ankle in a bizarre mishap during batting practice Friday when he tripped over a baseball on the sideline at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Ummmmmm

That looks really bad

We have robots that can do parkour but not batting gloves that can protect your hand?

Harrumph! Back in my day men were men and you just peed on your hands instead of using these newfangled “gloves” like a delicate lady going to a fancy ball.

There are definitely batting gloves that provide hand protection and we have seen a significant uptick in players wearing protective gear at the plate in recent years. It’s hard to tell if he’s wearing one or not. I’ve got to imagine a fastball to the knuckles still hurts like hell even with a padded glove. I guess it didn’t break anything and Ohtani finished the game.

Is anyone else’s MLB.tv laggy as hell?

Also, are you guys getting bombarded with Psycho Bunny commercials every single commercial break?? Jesus that song is so annoying when you have to hear it 3 times in a row

Justin Turner pitches the 9th for the Dodgers at home, trailing only 5-0 vs the Rockies. In a pennant race. WTF? The tanking in some of these games is ridiculous.

MLB app playing a 30 second ad every time you load or switch an audio feed is the WOAT. Thankfully I don’t jump around much on audio, but I have to believe it’s coming to MLB.tv at some point.

I’m scoring it SHARP baseball.
