You should check out the WAR leaderboard for that year.
also he is super dreamy
No need. The 80s was “sort by RBI for MVP” time.
Still, he barely made the top 20 in the NL.
But RBIs. Clutch!
Something good happening in Arizona in this pitcher’s fourth-ever appearance, first start.
EDIT: Tyler Gilbert did it. No-hitter. First pitcher to do that in his first major league start since 1953.

Yeah Padres are fading and still have to play almost 20 games vs the dodgers and giants and the reds have a much softer schedule. Even with our current 3 game lead I don’t like our chances at all.
Reds 9 of last 18 games are against Pittsburg. Cmon!
2 series left vs Miami and Chicago
Reds are going to come back and win the Central with this schedule
Padres missing the playoffs after their first half would be chefs kiss
Reds looking to put the Phillies away early this game.
LET’S GO REDS!
Indians pitcher perfect after 7
Top 8 with 2 outs, Reds up 4-3 on Phils. Farmer grounds an infield single to Gregorius who throws it away spinning on the throw. Reds call for review based on ball being trapped and Farmer is awarded second base. Barnhart batting with 2 strikes when he takes this pitch, a “ball” according to umpire Sean Barber:
Barnhart rips the next pitch down the line for a double plating the run, followed by Tyler Stephenson blasting a 2-run Johnson. Next inning we have Cutch at the plate who takes this first pitch strike:
Tatis is absurd
First game back from IL tatis has 4 hits and 2 home runs.
the ump this game was, of course, terrible.
